Previous energy project experience includes nuclear, hydroelectric, solar, as well as wind. Other relevant research was performed in the fields of neural network forecasting, failure analysis, and fault tolerant control systems. He received his degrees from Purdue University and majored in heat transfer technologies for fusion reactors, leading to the development of two new non-dimensional numbers.
Dr. Wagner has developed innovative solutions to industrial sensing challenges as well as building several land-based wind projects across the U.S. He previously served as CEO of Azure Energy, Phillips Electric, Motor Guarantee Corp., Remote Sensors, Inc., as well as Director of Research for Global Asset Management. Dr. Wagner, a lifelong boater and member of Cleveland Underwater Explorers (CLUE), brings extensive knowledge of maritime and subsurface issues, central to the deployment of offshore wind turbines.
